Jung at Heart
A Visual Journey Through the Psyche
Jung at Heart is more than a painting—it’s a guided descent into the unconscious. Created using a Jungian art method practiced in art therapy, this piece is part dream-map, part emotional excavation. Bursts of pink, cobalt, crimson, and indigo pull symbols from the shadows: animals, faces, forms half-hidden in color and line. It’s an abstract narrative that knows more than it’s telling.
This isn’t random—it’s revelation. This piece was painted as a way of listening to the self beneath the self. Every line came from a question I couldn’t answer in words. Every symbol is an invitation inward.
The Story Behind the Art:
This artwork was born in an art therapy session using Jungian method—a process that encourages image-making from the unconscious, rather than conscious design. The result? A layered, raw, intuitive composition that surprised even me. Jung at Heart is what emerged when I stopped trying to be good, and just tried to be true.
